![]() ![]() As a test I unzipped an outdated version of CCleaner Free Portable v6.15 in a folder called E:\Portable\CCleaner_615_OLD. ![]() These portable apps (including free versions of CCleaner, HWiNFO, Revo Uninstaller and TreeSize) are located in a folder called E:\Portable in their own subfolder (e.g., E:\Portable\CCleaner, E:\Portable\HWiNFO 7_62, etc.). I have ~ 25 portable apps that I run from a removable USB thumb drive. Does this mean it can now check for available updates for portable apps? If so I can't get this feature to work correctly. I don't see a way to do this in Ucheck.According to the release notes for UCheck v4.10.2 at this app now has " Added support for portable links". When I decide I want to apply the update, I would like to be able to download the update from the products website via Ucheck as SUMo allows rather than a third party. ![]() I want to be able to evaluate the update and then decide if I want to apply it or not. I am another one that doesn't want updates automatically applied. It would be more user friendly if we could exclude products from update checking on the Installed list rather than having to wait until there is an update so it can be excluded there. Ucheck will not work well for me if only 16 of my products are supported. In Sumo as long as one other person is using a product that I'm using, then it will show me if there are updates available for that product. I was surprised that I had to find out about version 4.10.1.0 of Ucheck from SUMo and that it doesn't even support itself.Īre there any plans to have more products supported? Neither of these was reported by Software Informer or WingetUI or even Ucheck itself. In Ucheck if I hide Microsoft Products, it shows I have 84 products installed but only 16 of them are supported.įor example, today SUMo showed updates for AOMEI Partition Assistant and Ucheck. In Sumo I have 70 Software products I monitor and all are supported. There are a couple things I like about SUMo compared to what I am seeing in Ucheck. First of all I want to say thanks for giving consideration to ideas from SUMo users ![]()
